shu lingmin introduced that the state administration for market regulation has successively signed cooperation agreements with ethiopia, morocco and other countries, as well as the african organization for standardization and the african electrotechnical commission, and built three information platforms: the "belt and road" national standards information platform, the technical trade measures public service platform, and the conformity assessment service trade facilitation information platform, enabling information retrieval with nearly half of african countries and building a bridge for the interconnection of standards and rules between china and africa.
it is reported that the state administration for market regulation has vigorously promoted foreign cooperation in standard certification and actively served the high-quality construction and implementation of landmark projects. for example, in the east african region of africa, the addis ababa-djibouti railway, the mombasa-nairobi railway, the tenth of ramadan city railway, the akkar railway, and the adama wind farm and the grand renaissance dam hydropower station energy projects. "in these projects, we strengthened the coordination and docking of standard certification to help africa improve transportation efficiency, reduce transportation costs, ensure africa's energy security, and promote africa's energy transformation. the african union conference center and the gambia international conference center, which have now become landmarks in africa, are also built according to chinese standards. it can be said that chinese standards have provided strong support for the relevant projects to take root." shu lingmin said.
"in response to african countries' concerns about food safety, we have joined hands with the international metric convention to help african countries develop and establish a mycotoxin detection system that they are very concerned about, making food safety testing faster and more accurate. in response to the urgent need to increase agricultural income, the general administration actively promotes china-africa agricultural industry standardization cooperation to enable better food production and more harvests." shu lingmin also said that agricultural standardization is an important measure to promote food security, and there is broad room for cooperation between china and africa in the field of agricultural standardization. at present, my country has built a total of 1 billion mu of high-standard farmland and more than 4,800 agricultural standardization demonstration bases, which have played an important role in continuously ensuring the sustained and stable growth of my country's grain output. in the process, we have accumulated rich experience in agricultural standardization construction. we are also cooperating with africa to share and promote china's agricultural standardization technology, build "small and beautiful" agricultural standardization projects, and jointly improve the level of agricultural standardization.
