hurun research institute today released the "2024 hurun china metaverse potential enterprise list", which lists the chinese companies with the most development potential in the metaverse field.
among the five major industrial fields of the metaverse, the largest number of companies on the list are in the underlying technology category, accounting for 41%, represented by iflytek and inspur information; ecological applications account for 38%, represented by sanqi interactive entertainment and mango super media; platform technology accounts for 13%, represented by huawei and alibaba; terminal products account for 5%, represented by hisense and xiaomi; network technology accounts for 3%, represented by china mobile and china telecom.
the largest number of companies are those whose main businesses are software and data services, and media and entertainment, with 36 and 35 companies respectively; followed by consumer electronics and electronic components companies, with 32 and 25 companies respectively; followed by artificial intelligence, semiconductors and financial services companies, with 18, 15 and 12 companies respectively. the ranking of financial services companies in industry distribution has risen over the past three years.
