qi xiangdong, member of the national committee of the chinese people's political consultative conference, vice chairman of the all-china federation of industry and commerce, and chairman of qi'anxin group, pointed out in the dialogue that the production, application and circulation of data have formed a "data triangle". the triangles support and influence each other, and their security issues cannot be solved in isolation. a unified security system must be established on top of the security protection systems of each "data corner" to ensure the security of the "data triangle" and promote the accelerated release of the value of data elements.
in the era of big data, data sharing and dissemination can generate more value, but data theft will lead to the loss of core competitiveness of enterprises. therefore, data security is the core issue of digital economy and data transactions. only by resolving security concerns can the digital economy develop rapidly. in this regard, qi xiangdong proposed the concept of "data triangle", including the production domain, application domain and circulation domain of data, and each domain faces different security issues.
qi xiangdong explained that the "data triangle" consists of the production domain, application domain and circulation domain.
the production domain network environment is relatively closed. the highest risk is theft by "insiders". the biggest hidden danger is the "three members": administrators, technicians, and operators. the "three members" have privileged accounts and are prone to actively leaking secrets, or being bribed or exploited. in addition, iot devices, various sensors, and it systems that produce data may also become tools for confidential transmission and data tampering.
the application domain and application environment are fully open. the highest risk is hacker attacks and backdoors, and the biggest hidden danger is api. according to statistics, more than 80% of hacker attacks and more than 90% of backdoors are implemented through api interfaces. the more api interfaces there are, the greater the vulnerability and backdoor hidden dangers.
the circulation domain is relatively dependent on third-party platforms. the highest risk is data business violations, and the biggest hidden danger is technical platform loopholes. global data, important data, sensitive data, and general data all need to be business scenario-oriented and must not violate the will of the data owner, personal information protection laws, or harm national interests. the above principles are generally guaranteed by technical platforms. once loopholes occur, major data security incidents will occur.
since the "data triangle" supports and influences each other, its security issues cannot be solved in isolation. qi xiangdong proposed that building a unified systematic security system covering each "domain" of the "data triangle" is the key to ensuring data security.
