China News Service, Toronto, August 26 (Reporter Yu Ruidong) The 9th Canadian Apparel and Textile Procurement Exhibition opened at the Toronto International Center on August 26.
The three-day exhibition was hosted by China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles and Jiangsu Trade Promotion International Exhibition Co., Ltd., organized by JPC of the United States, and co-organized by the Canadian Apparel Federation. Exhibitors from more than 10 countries including China, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Ghana, Peru, Canada, etc. participated in the exhibition, with a total of more than 200 booths and a total exhibition area of more than 3,000 square meters.

As the largest national pavilion, this exhibition has more than 120 Chinese companies from more than 10 provinces and cities including Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, Fujian, Shanghai, Hubei, Jiangxi, etc. The exhibits cover multiple categories including clothing, home textiles, apparel, luggage, shoes, etc.
The Ministry of Commerce of China once again established a special zone called "Chinese Brands" based on the exhibition to showcase eight Chinese textile and garment brands and their high-quality products, including Peak, Apasso, Mizuda, Challenge Wolf, Rainbow, China-based Eastar, Huayang and Guotai Hua.

Chinese Consul General in Toronto Luo Weidong, Consul Counselor Liu Linlin, Vice President of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles Zhang Xinmin, Chairman of Jiangsu Trade Promotion International Exhibition Co., Ltd. Wei Xiujun, President of Bank of China (Canada) and President of China Chamber of Commerce in Canada Deng Jun, as well as diplomatic officials from Pakistan and Peru in Canada attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
Luo Weidong told reporters that he is full of confidence in the overseas expansion of China's textile and garment industry. He expects Chinese textile and garment enterprises to make good use of the international exhibition platform, meet the world's first-class standards, pay more attention to R&D design and brand promotion, and promote the development of the industry from a higher perspective.
Zhang Xinmin said that Chinese textile and garment enterprises have excellent technical level and production capacity. The China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles and Apparel has set up an exhibition platform to better establish the image of Chinese brands and provide a trading platform to help enterprises attract buyers, get more high-quality orders, and help enterprises better cope with the challenges of the international market.
Liao Yadi, sales manager of the International Business Center of Peak (China) Co., Ltd., said that footwear products made in China have international competitiveness in terms of innovation, research and development, and quality, and are even in a leading position. She hopes to find suitable brand agents through participating in the exhibition, and carry out brand landing activities to continuously expand the North American and overseas markets.
