Beijing Wan'an Cemetery held its first red study activity and will launch multiple routes in the future

On the afternoon of August 26, a study tour themed "Inheriting the Red Gene and Carrying Forward Traditional Culture" was held at Wan'an Cemetery in Beijing. Led by the guide, the young pioneers listened carefully to revolutionary stories, reviewed the century-old modern history, and took a special patriotism education lesson.
Wan'an Cemetery, with a history of nearly 100 years, is the oldest modern cemetery in Beijing. The Li Dazhao Martyrs Cemetery is located here. In front of the statue of Li Dazhao, the guide told the revolutionary story of Comrade Li Dazhao with the title "Monument". The young pioneers visited the exhibition room of Li Dazhao's revolutionary deeds and expressed their high respect for the revolutionary martyrs through poetry recitation.
Under the guidance of the tour guide, the Young Pioneers also visited the Wan'an Cultural Center. Through real objects, photos, and famous quotes, they reviewed the century-long struggle history of my country since modern times and learned about the patriotic deeds of scientists such as Yu Min and Nan Rendong. During the event, the Young Pioneers also participated in shadow carving and flower art experiences under the guidance of staff, learning about the value of life education in practice.
It is understood that this is the first time that Wan'an Cemetery has held a red study activity.Li Haisheng, deputy director and spokesperson of Beijing Wan'an Cemetery, said that after years of development, Wan'an Cemetery has become an important base for revolutionary tradition education and patriotism education. "We hope to fully explore red resources, inherit red culture, and continue the red bloodline, and through research and study activities, let young people feel the red history up close, learn the heroic deeds of revolutionary martyrs, and inspire patriotism."
In the future, Wan'an Cemetery will launch multiple celebrity story-seeking routes, such as the Red Route, the Science and Technology Route, the Cultural Route, etc., leading young people to explore, learn stories of their ancestors, and receive spiritual baptism.
