It is reported that this batch of 172,800 "Guangming No. 2" white-feathered broiler breeding eggs produced in China has been successfully transported from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport to Pakistan. This is also the first time that China has exported poultry products to Pakistan.

Poultry consumption in Pakistan is increasing due to population growth and changing eating habits, but egg prices in Lahore and other places have soared due to recent feed shortages and disease outbreaks that have had a significant impact on poultry production.

To cope with the shortage of supply and rising costs, Pakistan has decided to import eggs from China.

The report quoted industry experts as saying that importing eggs from China could ensure a stable supply of chicken in Pakistan in the coming months and help stabilize the market.
