According to The Guardian, King Charles III of England is concerned about his health during his cancer treatment. Buckingham Palace has begun reviewing the king's funeral plans as his health has deteriorated significantly. King Charles is reportedly personally involved in the preparations for his own funeral.

Sources said Buckingham Palace was deliberately creating the illusion that Charles' health was improving, so officials were avoiding talking about the king's illness.

"As unpleasant as it may seem, preparations for the funeral have already begun... He still makes public appearances, but for shorter periods of time. He often arrives by helicopter and then leaves, needing to get plenty of rest afterwards," revealed a person familiar with the matter.

In early February this year, Buckingham Palace announced that King Charles III of the United Kingdom was diagnosed with cancer during a prostate-related examination. According to In Touch, Charles should be fighting pancreatic cancer.

"The cancer is eating away at his body. He is now extremely frail and in critical condition. The king is now unable to manage his wayward family, the interests of the royal family or carry out his public duties," In Touch reported in March.

Charles is reportedly continuing his royal duties while undergoing cancer treatment and is scheduled to visit Australia in October 2024. Royal family members, including his wife Queen Camilla, are concerned that he may not be able to withstand the pressure of the visit.

A source said: “Some staff at Buckingham Palace, as well as Camilla, are concerned about Charles’ busy schedule and fear his insistence on a series of engagements - including a visit to Australia in October - could seriously damage his recovery.”
