The International Table Tennis Federation announced the world rankings for the 35th week of 2024. In men's singles, Chinese players Wang Chuqin and Fan Zhendong ranked first and second, Liang Jingkun ranked fourth, Ma Long ranked sixth, and Lin Gaoyuan ranked eighth.

Patrick Francesca moved up one place to 10th, returning to the top ten in the world rankings; Darko Jockey rose four places to 15th; Xiang Peng moved up nine places to 46th; Huang Yancheng moved up 31 places to 69th, setting a new personal career high.

Other Chinese players, Lin Shidong ranked 14th and Xiang Peng ranked 46th.
