Zhengzhou City held a joint administrative interview meeting on "home massage" advertisements, requiring relevant companies such as Jinye Daojia and Dongjiao Daojia to remove the "home massage" advertisements posted in elevator cabins of residential communities across the city within a specified period of time, leaving no blind spots.

"Zheng Zheng News" called the Zhengzhou Municipal Market Supervision Bureau regarding this matter, and its staff responded that "such advertising content will affect the understanding and cognition of minors and is very detrimental to the protection of minors. Recently, some parents have complained to relevant departments about the "home massage" advertisements posted on elevator cars, gates and other media platforms in some residential areas in Zhengzhou, which are likely to arouse the curiosity and imitation of children, and harm the physical and mental health of minors. On August 23, the Zhengzhou Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, together with the Propaganda Department of the Zhengzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Zhengzhou Women's Federation, and the Henan Advertising Association, held a "Joint Administrative Interview Meeting on Zhengzhou's 'Home Massage' Advertisements".

The meeting drew a timeline for rectification of "home massage" advertisements, requiring relevant companies to remove the "home massage" advertisements posted in elevator cabins in all residential communities in the city within a specified period of time, leaving no blind spots.

The persons in charge of six "home massage" platform companies, including Jinye Daojia and Dongjiao Daojia, and six elevator, barrier gate and outdoor media companies, including Focus Media and Xinchao Media, were present to receive interviews and guidance, and to express their opinions.

On August 26, Zhengzhou News called the Zhengzhou Municipal Market Supervision Bureau regarding the matter. Its staff responded that the government has always been tolerant and guiding emerging industries, but the problem (of home massage) is becoming more and more prominent. "Such advertising content will affect the understanding and cognition of minors and is very detrimental to the protection of minors. Such advertisements will no longer be allowed in elevators."

The Zhengzhou Women's Federation said that the decision to remove such advertisements was made by the Zhengzhou Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government. The Henan Advertising Association said that its association mainly cooperates with the Zhengzhou Market Supervision Bureau to implement and rectify such phenomena that touch the bottom line of the law and affect social order and morality.

At noon on the 26th, Zhengzheng News called the China Advertising Association to ask whether the removal of "home massage" and other advertisements would be extended to other cities across the country. Its staff said, "This is a local action, and it is not clear for the whole country yet."

Subsequently, staff from the Advertising Section of the Wuhan Hanyang District Market Supervision and Administration Bureau told The News that they had not received any similar notification.

In addition, some netizens reported that "Dongjiao Daojia App cannot be downloaded from Huawei mobile app store."

On the afternoon of the 26th, "Zheng Zheng News" contacted Huawei's consumer service hotline regarding this issue. The customer service responded that if it shows "Due to developer reasons, download is not available for the time being", it may be that "the application has not passed the registration."

In addition, Zhengzheng News found that there were similar problems when downloading the software from the Apple mobile phone "App store". The "Download App" channel of the official public account of Dongjiaodaojia showed "App not available" when jumping to the App store to install the software. Apple's official customer service replied that if the user displays "App not available, this app is not currently available in your country or region" during the search for App download, it may be that the software has not been developed in the user's country or region, and it is necessary to contact the software developer to solve this problem; if the software has been downloaded before and cannot be downloaded now, it may be that the software has been removed from the Apple App store, and the reason and time of the removal cannot be found.

In this regard, the official customer service of Dongjiao Daojia told Zhengzheng News that "the software is being optimized and upgraded. We have not received any notification on when it will be available for download from major mobile app stores. You can first use the official account to contact the online customer service, who will send you a download link via SMS."

"Zheng Zheng News" found that as of the evening of the 26th, the Dongjiao Home Delivery App was only removed from some mobile app stores. The App can still be downloaded from mobile app stores such as vivo and Xiaomi.

On March 19 this year, some media reported that some mobile phones were unable to download and install the Dongjiao Daojia App. Dongjiao Daojia customer service said that they had received feedback from users that they could not download because some apps were subject to requirements by the Market Supervision Bureau. Previously, several home massage apps, including Dongjiao Daojia, were exposed to be involved in pornography. On March 17, Dongjiao Daojia issued a statement saying that it attached great importance to it and immediately set up a special investigation and supervision team, and summoned relevant executives in Fuzhou to conduct an in-depth investigation into the matter.
