Red Net Time Huaihua August 26th(Reporter Huang Xiaofang Zhang Jie) On August 23, more than 40 members of the Mayang Running Sports Association and staff from the Mayang Daqiaojiang Township Government came to Xihuang Mountain to carry out public welfare and environmental protection activities.
On the day of the event, volunteers wearing the association's red vests divided into three groups to collect garbage at the Golden Summit, Tianchi and a tourist spot under a wind turbine on Xihuang Mountain. Holding iron clamps, they picked up the white garbage discarded by tourists in the area, either on flat areas or on steep mountains, and put them into garbage bags. Then, the staff of the Daqiaojiang Township government used a special vehicle to transport the 35 bags of garbage collected.
This activity not only enhanced the team cohesion of the Mayang Running Sports Association, but also improved the environmental awareness of association members, and also provided a vivid environmental protection lesson to tourists.
