This time, the Southern Theater Command troops carried out armed patrols near the border and joint air-ground patrols, which can further demonstrate their determination and ability to maintain border security and stability."

Zhang Junshe further stated that the friendship between China and Myanmar has a long history. The two sides have always respected, trusted and supported each other, setting an example of equal treatment, mutual benefit and win-win cooperation, and common development between large and small countries. However, due to various reasons, conflicts and tensions have continued in northern Myanmar in recent times. China and Myanmar are connected by mountains and rivers, and the war in northern Myanmar has seriously threatened the security and stability of the China-Myanmar border area and the safety of life and property of the border residents on both sides.
