Well-known technology journalist Mark Gurman claimed that the fall conference was actually postponed by one day, mainly because on that day (September 10, Eastern Time), Vice President Harris and Republican presidential candidate Trump will hold their first televised debate. As the US election approaches the decisive moment, this debate has attracted the attention of the world, and Apple has to temporarily avoid the limelight.

It is reported that the two Pro series phones of the upcoming iPhone 16 will have larger screens and new camera features, such as the newly added "photo button". But the focus of the event is expected to be Apple Intelligence, the set of artificial intelligence tools that will be integrated into all new iPhones.

It is not yet known what Glowtime in the theme refers to, but some analysts speculate that it is a generative artificial intelligence tool. But CFRA Research technology analyst Angelo Zino commented that the outlook for the iPhone 16 is not optimistic because new artificial intelligence features will be launched continuously in the next few years. For example, an enhanced version of Siri may even be launched in 2025.

Analysts say Apple's most likely foray into artificial intelligence is through the company's virtual assistant Siri, which will be combined with OpenAI's latest ChatGPT-4o model to provide a great experience and may even learn about users' preferences and personality over time.

Regarding the price of iPhone 16, Zino predicts that the addition of artificial intelligence functions may cause the price of iPhone 16 to increase across the board.

In addition to the new iPhones, Apple is also preparing to make major changes to its Apple Watch lineup and improve AirPods. It is reported that the models in the Apple Watch Series 10 series will be thinner but equipped with larger screens.
