On August 25, the 2024 Shenyang Kangping Wolong Lake Marathon started at Kangqiao Square in Wolong Lake, with 8,000 domestic and foreign athletes running at full speed. This "Kangping Marathon" was successfully registered as a Class C event of the Chinese Track and Field Association, with a new 42.195km full marathon, and the scale of participation was expanded to cover different groups and ages.
At 7:30, the starting signal sounded, and the contestants galloped on the track to challenge themselves. They measured Kangping's passion with their footsteps and felt the charm of the city. The track was based on history and nature, and the contestants experienced Kangping's natural scenery, local customs and historical culture while running.
