According to media reports, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's document "Interim Provisions on Radio Management of Wireless Charging (Power Transmission) Equipment" will be implemented on September 1.

According to regulations, the wireless charging operating frequency range of mobile communication terminals, laptops, tablets, wearable devices, household robots, wireless charging devices for household appliances and vehicle-mounted wireless charging devices is 100-148.5kHz, 6765-6795kHz, and 13553-13567kHz, and the rated transmission power shall not exceed 80W.

In order to comply with new domestic regulations,Apple's official website document has modified the iPhone wireless charging power to 7.5W and the frequency from 360kHz to 127.7kHz.

In response to this, some netizens said that Apple’s wireless charging can be ignored.

In comparison, current domestic high-end flagships generally support 50W wireless flash charging. After the new regulations are implemented, the wireless charging of domestic flagships will be upgraded to 80W in the future.

In the view of industry insiders, wireless charging technology will develop more safely within the framework. The further increase in power limit will further reduce the charging waiting time. Components such as high-power transceiver coils and charging SoC chips will usher in a wave of peak demand, which will benefit mobile phone manufacturers, upstream and downstream industries, consumers, and other radio industries.
