China News Service, August 26. According to the website of the Central Meteorological Observatory, yesterday, heavy rainfall in North China and the Huanghuai area arrived as expected. Monitoring showed that heavy rain or rainstorms occurred in parts of southwestern Inner Mongolia, central and northeastern Shaanxi, central and northern Shanxi, central and southern Hebei, Beijing, southern Tianjin, central and northern Henan, and northwestern Shandong. Local torrential rains (100-220 mm) occurred in southwestern Inner Mongolia, northwestern Shanxi, central Hebei, southern Tianjin, Beijing Tongzhou, Shandong Dezhou, Henan Pingdingshan, etc., and local torrential rains (250-295 mm) occurred in Baoding, Hebei.

Today, there will still be heavy rainfall in the eastern part of North China and the central and eastern parts of the Huanghuai region. Parts of Shandong and Hebei will experience torrential rain, with local heavy rain, and strong convective weather during the rainfall. Tomorrow, the rainfall in North China and the Huanghuai region will significantly weaken, and the process will be coming to an end.

The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a yellow rainstorm warning this morning: It is expected that from today afternoon to tonight, there will be heavy to torrential rain in eastern Hebei, southern Beijing, Tianjin, most of Shandong, northeastern Jiangsu and other places. Among them, parts of southeastern Hebei, southern Tianjin, northwestern and eastern Shandong will have heavy rainstorms, and local torrential rains (250-260 mm); some of the above-mentioned areas will be accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, and parts of central and southern North China, Huanghuai and other places will have thunderstorms or hail weather above level 8. Among them, the local wind force in southeastern Hebei, western and southern Shandong, northern Henan, northern Jiangsu and other places can reach level 11.
