Hangzhou's new automobile policy is released! Car replacement can apply for a subsidy of up to 12,000 yuan

At 4:50 p.m. on August 24, the Hangzhou Business Official Account released the news that "Hangzhou's new automobile policy has been introduced! The maximum subsidy is 12,000 yuan."

It is understood that in order to further promote the old car for new one, individual consumers who scrap or transfer (except for changes) their own passenger cars and purchase a new passenger car with 7 seats or less (including 7 seats) in Zhejiang Province can apply for a one-time car replacement subsidy.

Subsidy Standard

For new cars priced between 50,000 and 150,000 yuan (not included), a subsidy of 6,000 yuan will be provided for fuel vehicles, and 8,000 yuan for new energy vehicles; for cars priced between 150,000 and 250,000 yuan (not included), a subsidy of 8,000 yuan will be provided for fuel vehicles, and 10,000 yuan will be provided for new energy vehicles; for cars priced at or above 250,000 yuan, a subsidy of 10,000 yuan will be provided for fuel vehicles, and 12,000 yuan will be provided for new energy vehicles. The price of a new car is the price quoted on the Unified Invoice for Motor Vehicle Sales.

Subsidy application channels

Consumers should submit their applications on the WeChat applet "Zhejiang Province Automobile Replacement and Renewal" before January 10, 2025, and upload relevant documents and proof as required. (Scan the QR code below to enter▼)

The place where the new vehicle's "Motor Vehicle Sales Unified Invoice" is issued is the place where the subsidy is accepted. The old vehicle registered in the name of the subsidy applicant must be before August 22 (inclusive).

Precautions

1. The number of replacement and renewal subsidies is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last.

2. During the event, each subsidy applicant and the same second-hand passenger car can only enjoy the subsidy once.

3. The old car and the new car must be in the same name. There is no requirement for the registration time of the old car.

4. Consumers can choose to scrap or replace their old cars first, or buy a new car first, but the dates of relevant materials such as "Certificate of Scrapped Motor Vehicle Recycling", "Certificate of Motor Vehicle Cancellation", "Motor Vehicle Sales Unified Invoice", "Motor Vehicle Registration Certificate" and "Motor Vehicle Driving License" should all be within the policy period, that is, from August 22, 2024 to December 31, 2024 (both days included).

5. This round of car replacement policy is only for individual consumers, and there is no requirement on whether the vehicle under their name is for commercial use.

6. This policy has no restrictions on the vehicle registration place, license plate place, and scrapping place. Vehicles from other provinces can enjoy this policy as long as they are purchased in Hangzhou.

7. This policy cannot be enjoyed in conjunction with the national automobile scrapping and renewal subsidy policy and the local new car purchase subsidy policy.
