In cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Nanjing, Kunming, etc., users who update to the latest version of Didi Chuxing App or click on Call Private Car and check the Pet-friendly Travel Service in the mini program will have the opportunity to experience Didi Private Car's "pet-friendly, no rejection" service.
With the launch of the pet-carrying service in 49 cities across the country, the pricing method of the pet-carrying service has also been upgraded to include self-provided pet boxes, no box - small and medium-sized, and no box - large. Taking Guangzhou as an example, if the pet is in a pet box, regardless of the size of the pet, you need to pay 3.9 yuan in addition to the basic fare of the private car. If there is no box but the pet has a leash, a small and medium-sized (pet weight 30kg and below) needs to pay 14.9 yuan, and a large (pet weight over 30kg) needs to pay 22.9 yuan.
Didi Chuxing has always been committed to providing quality travel, and pet-friendly drivers are required to sign up for the pet-friendly travel service on a voluntary basis. In order to provide users with a good pet-friendly travel experience, Didi Chuxing will provide unified professional service training for drivers who sign up. The car is equipped with disposable pet urine pads and pet-specific cleaning and disinfecting agents. Drivers who are qualified to carry pets will provide a standard service of changing pads and disinfecting pets for each trip.
In addition, in order to meet the needs of more users to travel with their pets, Didi will further upgrade the pet travel function in the near future, which will cover express and other models.
