Moscow, August 24 (Sputnik) - The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Russian air defense forces destroyed five drones over Voronezh Oblast at night, and one each in Belgorod Oblast and Bryansk Oblast.

The message said: "Last night, when the Kiev regime attempted to use drones to carry out terrorist attacks on targets in the Russian Federation, the air defense system's duty weapons destroyed seven fixed-wing drones. Five drones were destroyed over Voronezh Oblast, and one each in Belgorod Oblast and Bryansk Oblast."

Moscow, August 14 (Sputnik) - Voronezh Oblast Governor Alexander Gusev announced on his Telegram channel that the province was attacked by more than 35 Ukrainian drones in the early morning of August 14, but no one was injured.

"Over the past night, the Voronezh region was attacked by more than 35 Ukrainian drones. Thanks to the coordinated work of our air defense forces, no one in the region was injured. According to preliminary information, the falling debris of drones caused damage to several residential and non-residential houses, public infrastructure and vehicles," Gusev wrote.

He added that an assessment of the damage would be done after getting approval from the operations department.

Gusev also stressed that the risk of drone attacks remains in the region for the time being.
