Recently, Netcom learned from SAIC Volkswagen that the Volkswagen Tiguan New Rui will be officially launched at the Chengdu Auto Show which will open on August 30. As the entry-level model of the Tiguan family, the new car has a body size slightly smaller than the Tiguan, but slightly larger than the Tukai.

In terms of appearance, the Tuyue New Rui adopts Volkswagen's new generation SUV design language, and incorporates more fashionable elements in the details. For example, the front of the car adopts a double-line carved hood and a through-type horizontal front grille, matched with LED eyebrow-raising headlights, which is very domineering. In addition, the Tuyue New Rui provides 5 colorful and dynamic colors to meet the aesthetic needs of different consumers. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4355*1762*1605mm respectively, and the wheelbase reaches 2651mm.

In terms of interior, the new car is equipped with a full LCD instrument panel and a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel. The center console is equipped with a suspended media touch screen. The channel area retains physical buttons and knobs, and is equipped with a mechanical shift mechanism.

The new Tuyue is available in two power versions: 1.5T and 1.5L. The 1.5T EVO II net engine has a maximum power of 118kW, which enables it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.8 seconds, while its WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption is as low as 5.7L/100km.
