On August 23, a fire broke out in a shop along the Changjiang Huayuan Junwangfu Community on Changjiang Road, Suyu District, Suqian City, Jiangsu Province. On the 24th, Jimu News reporters learned from the Suyu District Funeral Home that they had received the bodies of the victims of the fire at the hospital, and the family members had not yet arrived to identify them.

A merchant on Changjiang Road told Jimu News that the fire broke out on the evening of the 23rd in an electric car store. Currently, the scene has been blocked. On the night of the incident, the police station called them and asked them to go to the store to check the surveillance. When she arrived at the scene, the fire had been put out and the store had no power. There were fire trucks and police cars at the scene.

Suqian City 120 staff said that after the incident, an ambulance from a nearby hospital rushed to the scene.

A staff member of the Suyu District Funeral Home told Jimu News that their staff received a call from the police station late at night and received the bodies of the fire victims from the Suqian City Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, but he did not know the specific number and identities of the victims, as their names were not registered and their families have not yet arrived to identify them.

The reporter called the emergency department of Suqian Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital near the scene of the incident, and the staff said they did not know where the body was sent.

Jimu News reporters called the Suyu District Emergency Management Bureau and the Suqian City Emergency Management Bureau, and the staff said they were not clear about the specific situation. The staff of the Suyu District People's Government said that the relevant departments would issue a notice with detailed information.

Staff from the Suqian City Fire Rescue Detachment said that rescue personnel arrived at the scene to deal with the situation after the incident.
