On August 22, the 2024 Tongerbao 4th International Leather and Fur Expo, China's Fur Capital, opened in Liaoyang City. During the expo, nearly 10,000 merchants from all over the country came to visit.
This expo focuses on six major theme activities, including the opening ceremony, the 2024-2025 leather and fur fashion trend conference, the 2024 China International Fur Annual Conference and the Annual Meeting of the Heilongjiang Fur Distribution Industry Association, the Tongerbao Financial Reception Hall Launch Ceremony, the Lighthouse Fur Industry Industry Party Building Consortium Comprehensive Party Committee Establishment Ceremony, and the manufacturer brand launch show. It empowers the fashion industry with diversified integration, releases the latest fashion trends, and provides a platform for enterprises to promote exchanges, seek cooperation, and expand channels, thereby promoting the sustainable development of the leather industry.
Tongerbao is one of the three largest fur and leather clothing markets in China, with fur clothing sales accounting for about 60% of the country. It is a national-level demonstration pilot town, a national-level characteristic town, and a demonstration cluster of modern service industries in Liaoning Province. In the first half of 2024, the online and offline sales of Tongerbao market reached 3.12 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.8%; the regional brand value of Tongerbao fur products reached 10.872 billion yuan, ranking fourth in the province for the first time.
