The Mailingsha team is also full of strength. In 2019, it won the runner-up of the Honey Fruit Cup League, and won the Shuangpu Town Rural Basketball League Championship for two consecutive years in 2021 and 2023. In this league, the Mailingsha team won 7 consecutive games in the group stage, entered the knockout stage as the first in the group, defeated Putang in the 16-to-8, defeated Hangfu in the 8-to-4, and defeated Lianghu in the 4-to-2, and successfully entered the finals. In order to increase the "village flavor" of the game, the communities where the two teams are located and the Dongjiangzui Village where the game is held specially prepared watermelons, corn and turtles.
