Beijing News (Reporter Wang Ping) Mushrooms breaking out of the ground in the forest, "Every grain of rice" micro-carved on rice, photographic works recording the "birth, aging, sickness and death" of a cabbage... On August 23, the 8th "Dancing Light and Food" Art Design Tour of Nature came to Guijie, opening an exhibition lasting nearly two months. This is also the first art exhibition held in Guijie.
Guijie is a well-known dining street in Beijing, and it is also a "late-night canteen" specialty dining district. At the exhibition, artists used rice, vegetables, fish, crayfish and other ingredients as prototypes and sources of inspiration, and through bold use of colors and form creation, and through digital art, presented the fusion of traditional art and modern life, allowing the audience to feel the fusion of ingredients, food and art in the exhibition. During the exhibition, in addition to the exhibition hall located in Guijie 288 Square, many art works were arranged in catering stores including the third store of Hu Da Restaurant, waiting for consumers to visit and check in. In addition, the art exhibition also launched four limited drinks and a limited coffee, "Dancing Baixiang", "Coconut Moonlight", "Eating Time Green Grapes" and "Colorful Lemon".

According to reports, "Dancing Lights and Food Colors" is jointly organized by Lianheshe, Beijing Guijie Chamber of Commerce, and Qilin ART, and supported by Beijing International Design Week, China Decoration Art Summit, Beijing Hu Da Catering and other organizations. Guo Dong, Supervisor of Beijing Guijie Chamber of Commerce, said in an interview with the Beijing News that consumers now come to Guijie not only to "have a good meal", but also to increase their demand for food and culture. "More than a dozen artists in this exhibition use daily food ingredients as the theme, allowing art and food to empower each other, and also opening up a different way to "open" Guijie."
Guo Dong said that the purpose of this exhibition is to hope that the outside world can have a better understanding of Guijie Street, and to hope that more consumers, operators and managers will choose Guijie Street, so that Guijie Street and its surrounding areas can have a better ecological environment in the process of urban development and renewal.
The Beijing News reporter learned that this year, Starbucks Coffee, Jing A, Huocai Box, Yibin Guesthouse and other catering brands that are very popular with consumers have opened in Guijie. In addition to the popular late-night snacks such as crayfish, grilled fish, hot pot, and skewers, more coffee, new tea drinks, Beijing-style dim sum, and Western food have also made Guijie's catering industry more diversified. Before the end of this year, the "Beijing Culture" restaurant that offers immersive dining experience is also expected to open its first store in Guijie. "In the future, Guijie will continue to create a distinctive culture, from hardware landscape to cultural precipitation, promote the registration of the Guijie LOGO, and use 'Guijie 12 Flavors' and 'Night Cat' as IPs to create more cultural products and cultural and creative peripherals."
