The Jingxi E-sports Festival includes three major sections: "King of Glory Professional Competition + NEST Summer Finals + Mountain Challenge", with more than 20 days of competition activities, aiming to drive consumption such as watching games, culture, commerce, and tourism, stimulate regional vitality, and lay a solid foundation for industrial development.

Li Xin, mayor of Shijingshan District, Beijing, said that Shijingshan District complies with the trend of digital development and adheres to the digital development of traditional sports. It gives full play to the regional advantages in virtual reality, science fiction and other industries and technologies, empowers traditional sports, and actively cultivates the development of digital sports.
Starting from 2023, Shijingshan District of Beijing, the Municipal Sports Bureau and Shougang Group will jointly host a mass digital sports event - the Beijing Digital Sports Open. It will use a fully independently developed digital competition system to combine traditional sports such as cycling, rowing, and golf with digital technologies such as digital twins, artificial intelligence, and perceptual interaction. Relying on real scenes such as Chang'an Avenue, Shougang Park, and Yongding River, it will build a metaverse track that integrates digital and real scenes. While stimulating the national fitness craze, it will fully showcase the regional image and promote the coordinated development of culture, commerce, sports, and tourism.
It is reported that the Jingxi E-sports Festival will introduce the "King of Glory" project, inviting professional teams to compete online and offline, presenting an excellent e-sports feast. NEST is a twelve-year-old comprehensive high-level e-sports event, known as the "National Games" of e-sports in the industry. High-level contestants from all over the country will compete to show their elegance in e-sports.
