IT Home reported on August 23 that the 2024 World Robot Conference officially kicked off on August 21. At this year's conference, humanoid robots were the absolute protagonists, with 27 complete machines on display, the most in history.

According to CCTV Finance, the expo has become an arena for various R&D companies to showcase and compete. The humanoid robots have already entered the small-scale mass production stage, and some companies have directly given the selling price, with the cheapest even falling to less than 100,000 yuan.

IT Home noted that Unitree Technology launched the G1 humanoid robot in May this year, priced from 99,000 yuan. At the 2024 World Robot Conference, the G1 robot ushered in a mass production version, with a design upgrade that is more in line with mass production requirements, and a "Wukong" skin version.

The 2024 World Robot Expo will continue to adopt the "robot +" application scenario display method, deepen mature applications, and expand emerging scenarios. It has invited more than 150 domestic and foreign leading robot manufacturers, well-known companies, and industry newcomers to participate in the exhibition. More than 60 companies will make their debut, and more than 50 new products will be launched.
