"The sanitary napkins you bought may have expired for 13 years!" Recently, a counterfeiting blogger named "Laohei" on a short video platform posted a short video that attracted the attention of netizens.

According to the video posted by the blogger, they bought sanitary napkins with tampered dates in Shucheng County, Lu'an City, Anhui Province, and found a den that was suspected of hoarding expired sanitary napkins, changing the dates and then selling them. The blogger said that these sanitary products were suspected to be privately collected by dealers or unscrupulous merchants for profit, and then sold as genuine products after tampering with the dates.

Purchase sanitary napkins The date has been modified.

On August 20, the blogger told Zhengguan News that because some of his colleagues were carrying out charity activities in the mountainous areas and needed a batch of daily necessities such as sanitary napkins, he and his team went to several stores in Shucheng County, Lu'an City to purchase them. However, they found that the production dates of some of the sanitary napkins they bought were suspected to have been tampered with. The inkjet codes on many outer packaging were rough, and the code information of different brands was the same. Some even had traces of the original formal logos left. "From the product batch, some sanitary napkins may have expired for 13 years."

The blogger said that in order to collect evidence, they also bought sanitary napkins in one or two large supermarkets in the local area. "Including the previous ones, we bought sanitary napkins in a total of 7 stores and supermarkets, and found that there were problems with the dates in all of them, involving several different brands."

After a series of searches, the blogger found a suspected sanitary product delivery truck outside a supermarket. "Following the truck, we found the warehouse in the video."

Afterwards, the blogger called the police, saying, "A large supermarket involves many consumers, which can attract more attention from relevant departments." At the same time, people who were waiting outside the warehouse discovered a figure who looked like the boss. The blogger and his team then rushed to the scene and stopped him.

"When we arrived outside the warehouse, we happened to see the boss moving a machine into the trunk of his car and locking the warehouse door before leaving. We parked the car across the road to stop him." The blogger then called the police and contacted the Shucheng County Market Supervision Bureau to report the incident. Relevant department personnel arrived at the scene one after another to deal with the matter.

The blogger told the reporter that the supermarket owner who was stopped earlier took advantage of the situation and left the scene through the back door of a nearby store. After the police arrived at the scene, they handed the matter over to the Market Supervision Bureau.

Are there more "problematic" sanitary napkins stored in the warehouse? After unremitting efforts, the blogger opened the door of the warehouse under the witness of the staff of the Market Supervision Bureau, the police, the community secretary and other parties, and found a large number of sanitary napkins.

The blogger said that some of the goods in the warehouse have been taken away by the Market Supervision Bureau for investigation, "and I also hope that the relevant departments can recall these problematic goods." As of now, the Shucheng County Market Supervision Bureau has not informed him of the results of the problem handling.

The local market supervision bureau set up a special task force

The video posted by the blogger sparked heated discussions on the Internet.

In the video, an advertisement for Jie Ling sanitary napkins was posted on a truck next to the warehouse. Many netizens flocked to the brand's live broadcast room to ask whether the company had the situation exposed in the video.

On the afternoon of August 20, the official flagship store account of Jie Ling released a statement. The statement said that according to the local market supervision department where the incident occurred, Jie Ling Company had learned and verified that the sanitary napkin brands involved in the incident that illegally tampered with the production date did not involve any series of products produced by Jie Ling Company. Since September 2020, the packaging of Jie Ling Company's full range of sanitary napkin products has been marked with the production date and batch number using the latest laser coding technology. After the product packaging is marked with laser coding, the production date cannot be tampered with.

The reporter also tried to contact other sanitary napkin brands involved in the video to understand the relevant situation, but has not received a response yet.

The operator of Shucheng County Market Supervision Bureau told the Zhengguan News reporter that they attach great importance to the situation exposed by the blogger. They have set up a special task force to investigate and are also communicating and verifying with relevant brand manufacturers. The detailed investigation results will be announced at that time.
