Recently, 47 students from Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Xi'an Jiaotong University and other universities participated in the "Million Talents to Prosper Chongqing" Outstanding Youth Chongqing Experience Month - the Second Intelligent Connected New Energy Vehicle Industry Event, and went deep into our city's enterprise parks to learn about the innovative development of Chongqing's intelligent connected new energy vehicle industry.
The students participating in this activity include students from various majors including sculpture modeling, power engineering and engineering thermal physics, e-commerce management, and vehicle engineering, covering different academic levels of undergraduate, master and doctoral degrees. Focusing on the needs of our city's intelligent networked new energy vehicle industry, the activity organized students to enter Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd., Seres Group Co., Ltd. and other companies in batches, and carried out a month of pre-job training and on-the-job practice to simulate "career experience".
During the internship, students actively participate in different job positions, which not only allows them to understand the work content and requirements of different positions, but also improves their teamwork and problem-solving abilities. At the same time, they will also have the opportunity to learn the operating model and cultural characteristics of the employer, so that they can quickly adapt to the workplace environment after employment and better show themselves.
“The planning of this event is very reasonable. Through the training and factory internship, I not only learned professional courses and understood the automotive industry, but also experienced work, which helped me transform from a college student to a working person, and even progress to an automotive person!” Guo Yijun, a master of e-commerce management from the University of Warwick in the UK, majored in data analysis. During her internship at SERES, she truly felt Chongqing’s urban heritage of old-brand cars. With the strong support of the municipal government for the intelligent connected new energy vehicle industry, she sees more possibilities for the future.
It is reported that the Chongqing Experience Month for Outstanding Youths, as one of the important sub-activities of the "Million Talents to Prosper Chongqing" talent attraction brand, has been held for two consecutive sessions. Focusing on the talent needs of the intelligent connected new energy vehicle industry, more than 100 students from key universities across the country have been invited to Chongqing for internships and experiences.
A relevant person in charge of the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau said that this event, through the collaboration of the government, employers and universities, invited young talents in the field of intelligent connected new energy vehicles to experience the innovative achievements of Chongqing's automobile industry through actual experience and exchanges, improve students' practical operation capabilities, and help employers lock in and reserve outstanding talents in advance, shorten the talent training cycle, and improve the effectiveness of talent introduction.
It is reported that the National Key Universities (Autumn) Talent Attraction Tour will be officially launched in September, and activities will be carried out in Beijing, Xi'an, Sichuan and other regions to showcase Chongqing's economic and social development characteristics, talent policies and services, and scientific and technological innovation platforms to talents, and attract talents to come to Chongqing for employment and development.
