On August 22, according to the Hebei Daily: The Hebei Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and the Hebei Provincial Sports Bureau issued a decision to give honorary awards to athletes and coaches from Hebei Province who achieved outstanding results in the 33rd Olympic Games. It mentioned: At the 33rd Paris Olympic Games, 9 athletes and 2 coaches from Hebei Province were selected for the Chinese sports delegation, and achieved excellent results of 4 golds, 1 silver, 1 bronze, 2 fifth places, 1 seventh place, and 1 eighth place, winning honors for the country and Hebei Province.
