At the 33rd Paris Olympic Games, 9 athletes and 2 coaches from our province were selected for the Chinese sports delegation, and won 4 golds, 1 silver, 1 bronze, 2 fifth places, 1 seventh place, and 1 eighth place, winning honors for the country and our province. In accordance with the Implementation Rules for Rewards for Athletes and Coaches in Hebei Province (Hebei Government Office [2021] No. 135), honorary awards should be given to athletes and their coaches who have achieved outstanding results:Four athletes including Sun Yingsha, Long Daoyi, Chang Yuan and Li Bingjie, and three coaches including Cao Liye, Zhang Xiyan and Zhang Chaohe were awarded the Great Merit Award; For those who won other places and were officially selected for the delegationFive athletes including Gong Lijiao, Guo Shuai, Du Linshu, Liang Jingkun and Gao Weizhong, and three coaches including Guo Jianbin, Liu Jianxu and Zhou Yilin were awarded merit awards.
