IT Home reported on August 22 that Xiaopeng Motors' official WeChat account posted a message this morning saying that Xiaopeng X9 has completed the certification of its vehicle assisted driving function under complex weather conditions at the China Automotive Technology and Research Center Co., Ltd., making it the first model nationwide to pass this test.

According to reports, the test was organized by the Guangzhou Inspection Center of China Automotive Technology and Research Center. It specifically evaluates the reliability and safety of the vehicle's intelligent assisted driving safety functions under complex meteorological conditions such as night, rain and fog. It involves vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-person recognition and response, a total of 9 tests.

The entire certification process requires that the vehicle under test must complete the above 9 tests at the same time to pass the certification. Failure of any test will result in certification failure. Xiaopeng Motors claims that the X9 "performed well" in all tests and passed all 9 tests.

According to previous reports from IT Home, in July 2024, Xpeng delivered 11,145 new cars, a year-on-year increase of 1.24% and a month-on-month increase of 4.47%. Since the beginning of the year, Xpeng Motors has delivered a total of 63,173 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 20.46%. Among them, Xpeng X9 delivered 1,459 units that month.

Xpeng Motors' Q2 financial report data this year showed that the company's revenue of 8.11 billion yuan increased by 60.2% year-on-year, and its car sales revenue of 6.82 billion yuan increased by 54.1% year-on-year.
