China Youth Daily Client News (Lu Yonglong, Zhang Yufang, China Youth Daily, China Youth Network reporter Wang Haihan) Recently, the South District of the Huainan Experimental School project of Beijing Normal University has been fully completed, and the campus will be put into use in September this year. The school is a twelve-year integrated public school with primary, middle and high school, divided into two phases of construction, the South District and the North District, and the North District will be put into use in the fall of 2023. The school is an important measure to deepen the cooperation between the Anhui Provincial People's Government and Beijing Normal University and to implement the service of regional innovation and development, which will further improve the overall school-running level of Huainan, Anhui.

Beijing Normal University Huainan Experimental School is located in the Shannan New District of Huainan, covering a total area of about 300 mu and a total construction area of about 158,000 square meters. The South District mainly includes 7 building units, including the high school living building, high school teaching building, auditorium complex building, art complex building, and sports complex building. The total planned land area of the project is 85,600 square meters, the total construction area is 77,400 square meters, and it is planned to set up 36 high school teaching classes, which can accommodate 1,620 students.

On December 18, 2021, the first Huainan Transformation and Development Conference was held. Beijing Normal University and the Huainan Municipal People's Government signed a framework agreement on cooperative education and decided to jointly establish the Beijing Normal University Huainan Experimental School, marking the beginning of cooperative education.
The school design organically combines regional culture with the humanities of Beijing Normal University, and at the same time strives to build a smart campus system to meet the needs of high-standard school management and comprehensive development of students. During the construction of the campus, the construction party formed a management and technical team with an average age of 30 to carry out the research and development and use of new materials and new processes, making full use of the golden construction period of summer vacation to inject "youth" power into the construction of local key education projects.
