China News Service, Beijing, August 21 (Reporter Chen Hang and Lv Shaowei) On the 21st, the 2024 World Robot Conference opened in Beijing. 169 domestic and foreign robot companies brought more than 600 innovative products to the conference, demonstrating the continued "deep cultivation" of robots in thousands of industries.

In the exhibition hall of the conference, the bionic humanoid robot that vividly simulates various human expressions is particularly eye-catching. According to the staff, the robot integrates computer vision, deep learning and sensors, can recognize and understand dynamic changes in the environment, and behaves more like humans in the process of perception and interaction, which promotes the application of bionic humanoid robots in exhibitions, children's education and other fields.
Making coffee, making pancakes, squeezing juice, folding clothes... Robots are becoming more and more versatile and good partners in daily life. In the exhibition area of Stardust Intelligence, a humanoid robot was holding a brush and performing calligraphy, quickly writing Chinese characters such as "Beijing" and "Made in China", which was quite charming.

The person in charge of the exhibition area introduced that the development team mainly completed the robot's simulation of calligraphy creation through technical training such as artificial intelligence embodied models. With the combination of a complete set of algorithms and highly humanoid robots, the robot can perform writing movements similar to humans. In addition, the robot is also full of "personality" and can simulate the personal habits of calligraphers, such as the degree of forward leaning of the body's center of gravity and the movement of pressing the paper with the left hand.
Just tap the screen to select a mode, and a robot will start to provide traditional Chinese medicine health massage therapy services to the audience lying on the bed. The staff said that this AI therapy robot is composed of a robotic arm, sensor integration, massage tools, etc., and can quickly identify the meridian points of the human body through the combination of artificial intelligence technology and visual technology; through the robotic arm with integrated force sensing technology and a variety of massage heads, it simulates the techniques and skills of professional doctors to achieve more accurate and natural massage movements, and can be widely used in different scenarios such as elderly care, sports venues, gyms, and physiotherapy centers.
Thanks to the deep integration of artificial intelligence and robots, humanoid robots have evolved from simple limb control to now possessing a smart "brain", agile "cerebellum" and flexible "limbs". At the same time, the technical level and industrialization capacity of industrial robots have also been greatly improved.
At the opening ceremony of the conference, the "Tiangong 1.2 MAX" robot developed by the Beijing Embodied Intelligent Robot Innovation Center made its first public appearance. It held the conference badge with both hands, walked to the center of the stage, and accurately placed the emblem on the launch platform. Afterwards, the robot and the guests jointly announced the opening of the conference on the launch platform.
According to the staff, the robot is 173 cm tall and weighs 60 kg. It has precise motion control, accurate navigation and positioning, and flexible and autonomous decision-making capabilities. It can achieve natural anthropomorphic walking and running, and can stably pass through complex environments such as grass, sand, hills, gravel, and stairs. In the future, it is expected to be used in industrial collaborative production, flexible manufacturing, disaster relief and other industries.

There were many "new faces" at this year's World Robot Conference, and Swiss company ROLLVIS was one of them. At the company's booth, various models of planetary roller screws attracted many visitors.
"Planetary roller screws are transmission components that play a key role in robot manufacturing, especially in driving the joints of humanoid robots." Fan Junfeng, the person in charge of the booth, introduced that due to its high efficiency, high load-bearing capacity and accurate control, it improves the robot's motion performance and load capacity. Its small size, low noise and high precision can effectively reduce the size of the joints.
Fan Junfeng said that the World Robot Conference is a professional and broad platform, and everyone has shown their "unique skills". He looks forward to meeting more partners during the conference and discussing cutting-edge technologies and future cooperation. (End)
