On August 20, the survey data released by Deep Blue Think Tank and its joint institutions showed that from the perspective of source countries, this summer, benefiting from the recovery of business groups and free travel, the United States ranked first among the top ten source countries for inbound tourism in Beijing; South Korea and Japan within the "3-hour flight circle" ranked second and third respectively; Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, which have mutual visa exemption with China, followed closely behind. The continuous expansion of China's visa-free "circle of friends" has allowed tourists from more countries to feel the convenience of inbound tourism, helping to accelerate the recovery of Beijing's inbound tourism market.

On August 19, at the "Promoting High-quality Development" series of press conferences held by the State Council Information Office, Liu Haitao, member of the Party Leadership Group and deputy director of the National Immigration Administration, introduced that according to statistics from the National Immigration Administration, from January to July this year, 17.254 million foreigners entered the country through ports, a year-on-year increase of 129.9%; 846,000 port visas were issued, a year-on-year increase of 182.9%. The national inbound market is recovering at an accelerated pace.

Focusing on the Beijing market, from the perspective of source countries, data disclosed by DeepBlue Think Tank and Ctrip show that among travel orders from July 1 to August 20, the top ten source countries for inbound tourism in Beijing are the United States, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, Russia, Mongolia and Australia.
