The mobilization meeting for the Chinese sports delegation to the Paris Paralympic Games was held in Beijing on the 20th. The delegation will depart for Paris in two batches on the 21st.

The Paris Paralympics will be held in France from August 28 to September 8. This is the 11th time that my country has participated in the Summer Paralympics. The Chinese delegation was established in Beijing on the 16th, with a total of 516 people, including 284 athletes, including 126 male athletes and 158 female athletes, with an average age of 25.8 years old.

Cheng Kai, head of the delegation, president of the China Disabled Persons' Federation and the China Paralympic Committee, stressed in his speech that we should adjust to the best state with high morale, belief in victory and strict discipline, go all out to complete all the tasks of the competition and create more glory in the Paris Paralympic Games. Athletes should not be arrogant or impatient, but make persistent efforts, break through themselves, transcend limitations, show the "bravery" of the Chinese team and create new glory; they should insist on winning gold medals of morality, style and cleanliness, show the civilized style of a country of etiquette and the self-improvement and optimistic spirit of Chinese people with disabilities; they should take the initiative to communicate, make friends, enhance friendship, show the good image of a great power in the new era, tell the stories of Chinese people with disabilities well, and show Chinese-style human rights protection and national development achievements.

Liu Guoyong, deputy director of the General Administration of Sport of China, expressed in his speech that he hoped the participating athletes would not be afraid of difficulties, work hard, dare to challenge and surpass themselves, and continue to write new glory for disabled sports.

All members of the delegation attended the meeting on the same day, and representatives of athletes and coaches spoke at the meeting. After the meeting, a delegation work meeting was organized to make detailed arrangements for the specific work of the competition.
