"Made in Chongqing" steel products once again provide supporting equipment for national key projects. On August 20, the reporter learned from Chongqing Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Chongqing Iron and Steel) that the company recently won the bid for the SG7 section of the Xichang-Zhaotong Expressway (hereinafter referred to as Xizhao Expressway) under construction, and will provide full supporting equipment for the steel box beams of this section.

Xizhao Expressway connects Zhaotong, Yunnan and Xichang, Sichuan. It is a section of the national expressway network plan. After completion, it will form a convenient road network in the southwest region together with the Xixiang Expressway in the west and the Duyun to Zhaotong Expressway in the east.
After receiving the order from the construction party, the Chongqing Steel Production, Sales and Research Team maintained communication with the other party on product technical requirements, delivery cycle, etc., and made plans in advance for possible problems that may arise during production, transportation and construction. At the same time, it tracked the production process in real time during production to ensure product performance.
"Providing construction support for Xizhao Expressway is a reflection of Chongqing Steel's development strategy of 'based in Chongqing, deeply rooted in Sichuan and Chongqing, radiating to the southwest, and deploying along the river.'" The person in charge of Chongqing Steel said that the company will closely follow the key engineering construction projects in the Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan regions in the future, and continue to accumulate technology and ensure product quality while actively expanding the market.
