The new semester is about to begin. In order to ensure the purity of education and let new teachers better understand the mission and responsibility of drug prevention education, the Anti-Drug Brigade of the Public Security Bureau of Gucheng County, Xiangyang City, Hubei Province, and the County Education Bureau recently conducted pre-job drug prevention knowledge training and drug testing for more than 176 newly recruited high school and primary school (kindergarten) teachers in the county.

Led by the guide, the teachers went to the Gucheng County Anti-drug Education Base, learned about the history of drug control in my country, and learned about the types, sources, transmission routes, and prevention methods of drugs. By watching various simulated drug models and experiencing VR equipment, everyone had a more intuitive understanding of the characteristics of drugs, which further improved the teachers' anti-drug knowledge level and their sense of responsibility for drug prevention education for students in school.

After the study session, the teachers came to the conference room, where police officers and social workers distributed new drug leaflets to them and explained the concealment and harmfulness of new drugs. At the same time, they guided everyone to follow the Xiangyang Anti-Drug WeChat public account and learn the anti-drug knowledge pushed in a timely manner.

After the training, the police and anti-drug social workers collected hair samples from the teachers in a standardized and orderly manner, and registered, signed, numbered, and photographed the samples for drug testing one by one. In this way, the samples were authentic, the results were accurate, and no one was missed in the inspection.

The test results showed that all 176 teachers passed the drug test.
