More than 15,000 teachers and students from universities across the country participated in the competition, which included smart rescue, treasure hunting alliance, logistics vehicles and other categories, in order to deepen the understanding of all sectors of society on the integration and innovation of robot intelligence technology... On August 20, the second stage of the 2024 Ruikang Robot Developer Competition National Finals kicked off at the Hangzhou Future Science and Technology City Academic Exchange Center in Yuhang District. At the opening scene, the teams were still not satisfied after the demonstration. Some picked up the participating robots to continue thinking, some sat on the ground with computers, and others discussed with the team.
Why does this competition attract so many young players?
It is understood that the Ruikang Robot Developer Competition was founded in 2015 and is an important platform for communication and competition among domestic and foreign robot technology enthusiasts. This year's competition is themed "Robots Take Care of People" and is divided into CAIR Engineering Competition Track, CAIA Digital Culture and Creativity Track, CAIM Engineering Maker Track, and CAIP Information Technology Innovation Track. Among them, the CAIA Digital Culture and Creativity Track has completed the first stage.

Peng Baolin, deputy director and secretary-general of the Ruikang Robot Developer Competition Organizing Committee, introduced that the competition designs and plans events from four directions involved in the actual robot development process, namely, comprehensive robot development, digital creativity, engineering maker and artificial intelligence programming. The competition continues to delve into the competition system, organization and the event itself, striving to provide everyone with a more efficient and high-quality competitive environment, which will help contestants grow quickly.
In addition to the attraction of the event itself, Yuhang District has also formed the "Ruikang Event Month" phenomenon, attracting various talents in the robotics industry to Yuhang for internships, employment, etc. These experts, corporate representatives, teachers and students from all over the country continue to come to Yuhang, allowing robotics innovation resources to gather in Yuhang.

It is reported that the second phase of the competition will last until August 26, and after the competition, the 2024 season national finals awards ceremony will be held in Yuhang District, inviting the relevant champions, runners-up and third place winners to present the awards.
