Today (August 20), Beijing has a lot of clouds and may have showers, with a maximum temperature of 28°C. In the next two days, Beijing will be sunny again, which is more suitable for outdoor activities, but the ultraviolet rays are strong during the day and the body feels hot, so the public should pay attention to heatstroke prevention and sun protection.

Yesterday, Beijing was mainly cloudy with rainfall in most areas. Monitoring showed that from 9:00 to 22:00, the average precipitation in the city was 4.1 mm. The heaviest precipitation occurred in Simagou, Fangshan, at 73.6 mm, reaching the level of heavy rain.

The Beijing Meteorological Observatory predicts that it will be cloudy to overcast with scattered showers during the day, with northeasterly winds at level 2 to 3 to 4, and the highest temperature will be 28℃; it will be cloudy at night, with showers turning to cloudy in the eastern region, with northerly winds at level 1 to 2, and the lowest temperature will be 23℃.

In the next two days, Beijing will be mostly cloudy or sunny, with the maximum temperature rising to 32℃. The ultraviolet rays will be strong during the day and the body will feel hot, so the public should pay attention to heatstroke prevention and sun protection.

The meteorological department reminds that due to the influence of the outer cloud system of the low vortex, there will be a lot of clouds in Beijing today and there will still be showers. Since geological disasters have a lag, it is recommended that everyone is cautious when traveling to mountainous areas, rivers and other potential risk areas.
