Chongqing, this vibrant mountain city, is about to usher in a grand event of science and technology and the future. According to the Chongqing Development and Reform Commission, the 2024 International Ecological Conference on Aerospace Information Industry will be held in Chongqing from September 2 to 4. Last year, the Chongqing Municipal Government issued and implemented the "Opinions on Accelerating the High-Quality Development of Aerospace Information Industry Led by Satellite Internet", proposing that by 2025, Chongqing will create a national satellite Internet industry innovation center, build a satellite Internet comprehensive application demonstration zone by 2030, promote 3-5 companies to go public, introduce and cultivate hundreds of "specialized, refined and new" enterprises, and form a trillion-level aerospace information industry cluster.

This conference closely follows the theme of "large-scale application and ecological empowerment", continues the brand characteristics of "2023 Mingyue Lake Aerospace Information Industry International Ecological Event" of internationalization, specialization and marketization, and invites more than 500 heavyweight guests including leaders of ministries and commissions, academicians of the two academies, experts and scholars, and heads of leading enterprises to attend the conference. They will conduct in-depth analysis and outlook on the latest technological advances in the field of aerospace information, the latest trends, challenges and opportunities in the current industry.

With the rapid development of science and technology, the aerospace information industry, as a strategic emerging industry, is gradually becoming a new highland for global scientific and technological innovation and economic development. In recent years, my country has made remarkable achievements in the field of aerospace information, especially the successful global networking of the Beidou satellite navigation system, which marks a solid step forward for my country in this field.

The conference was co-organized by Chongqing Development and Reform Commission, Chongqing Economic and Information Commission, Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Management Committee, and China Satellite Network Group Co., Ltd., and hosted by the International Ecological Alliance of Aerospace Information Industry (in preparation) and Chongqing Digital Innovation Park.
