IT Home reported on August 20 that the technology media Android Authority published a blog post yesterday (August 19) sharingGoogle Pixel Zoom Enhance feature first shot sample

At the launch of the Pixel 8 series of mobile phones last year, Google launched the Pixel Zoom Enhance feature, promising to greatly enhance the display of photos through local AI, making the details clearer than ever when zooming in on photos.

Google confirmed last week that the feature will be launched first on the Pixel 8 Pro and later on the Pixel 9 Pro.

Google’s Peyman Milanfar said in a series of tweets on his X account on August 15 that the feature is “the first (image-to-image) diffusion model designed and optimized to run locally.”

Running locally means that users can use this function without the help of cloud tools, and user privacy data can be properly protected.
