Beijing News (Reporter Zhang Jie) On August 19, the China Ceramic Industry Association released the performance grading requirements and standard compilation progress for the ceramic industry. As one of the main industries in the "Technical Guidelines for Performance Grading and Emission Reduction Measures for Key Industries in Heavy Pollution Weather - Building Materials and Furnaces Industry", the ceramic industry has carried out standard formulation work and has completed the opening demonstration. The expert group unanimously agreed to pass the technical review of the draft for comments of the standard. The standard compilation group will continue to promote the standard compilation work in accordance with the procedures under the organization and leadership of the Atmospheric Division of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment.
According to the China Ceramic Industry Association, in 2019, the Atmospheric Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment issued the Guiding Opinions on Strengthening the Response to Severe Pollution Weather and Consolidating Emergency Emission Reduction Measures (Environmental Office Atmospheric Letter [2019] No. 648), which for the first time put forward the performance grading management requirements for the ceramic industry and formulated differentiated emission reduction measures; in 2020, the Atmospheric Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment issued the Technical Guidelines for the Formulation of Emergency Emission Reduction Measures for Key Industries in Severe Pollution Weather (2020 Revised Edition) (Environmental Office Atmospheric Letter [2020] No. 340), which further improved the performance grading indicators of the ceramic industry from the aspects of equipment level, energy type, pollution control technology, emission limits, unorganized emissions, monitoring and control level, environmental management level, transportation mode, transportation supervision, etc., optimized differentiated emission reduction measures, and added on-site verification methods. At present, the performance grading of the ceramic industry is mainly carried out in accordance with the requirements of Document No. 340.
The latest performance rating results of refractory materials show that among the provinces (cities) that still have heavy pollution in the past three years, there are 21 provinces (cities) with normal production of building ceramics enterprises, and 20 provinces (cities) with normal production of sanitary ceramics, daily ceramics, special ceramics, garden art ceramics and other ceramics enterprises. The number of building ceramics enterprises in Fujian, Sichuan, Shandong and Jiangxi accounts for more than 50% of the number of building ceramics enterprises in the country, and the number of sanitary ceramics, daily ceramics, special ceramics, garden art ceramics and other ceramics enterprises in Shandong, Henan and Hunan accounts for more than 60% of the number of the above five types of ceramics enterprises in the country.
