On August 18, Emperor Entertainment opened its limited-time concept store "0 e:ffect" on Russell Street in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, with many artists attending to show their support. The store exhibited many concert costumes of Emperor Entertainment artists, sold peripheral merchandise and limited edition vinyl records, and regularly held music live broadcasts and small live performances to provide fans with a unique and interesting experience.
It is reported that the concept store is three stories high, each with a special theme and the content is updated from time to time. The most attractive part for fans is the "Singers' Cloakroom", which displays the classic concert stage costumes of many famous Emperor singers. Fans can get a close look at the delicate tailoring of the costumes and relive the highlights of the concerts.
There are many interactive devices in the store. For example, in the four-frame selfie booth, fans can take photos with the photo frames of more than 40 Emperor Entertainment Group artists. If you are still not satisfied after taking four-frame selfies, the store has also introduced the latest holographic projection technology, which allows you to take moving photos with the artists. One of the most popular peripheral products among fans is the artist flashcards. Interestingly, in addition to "top stars" such as Joey Yung, Twins, Nicholas Tse, and William Chan, the flashcards also include powerful artists under Emperor Entertainment Group such as Bobby Au-yeung, Teresa Mo, and Alex Fong. Even Emperor Entertainment Group boss Albert Yeung and agent Florence Hui have their own flashcards.
The first floor of the concept store has a "music live broadcast area" inspired by visual broadcasts in Japan and South Korea. Artists can interact with fans and pedestrians while performing live. In addition to watching the live broadcast online, the audience can also stop and watch it on Russell Street. During the live broadcast, the host will invite the audience to play video games and board games together and interact closely with fans. In addition, they will invite superstar friends to the scene to drink and chat late at night to show the most real side of the artists; they will also regularly invite musicians such as Deng Xiaoqiao to hold live performances to bring more audio-visual enjoyment to everyone.
The pop-up store will sell artist-related products, including co-branded products with local artists and brands, singers' exclusive vinyl records, etc. The singers' second-hand clothing will also be consigned in the concept store. The store also has a multi-functional space, and will invite different local artists to hold lectures and exhibitions starting in October. Emperor Entertainment revealed that all proceeds from this project will be donated to several charities after deducting costs.
