"Every ultra-high performance concrete pole that leaves our factory undergoes a full inspection, and the quality is excellent." Recently, at Guizhou Changtong Group Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Ma Hongjiang, head of the pole industry division, told reporters that thanks to the recent strong demand for line construction and renovation from the State Grid Corporation of China, Changtong has received continuous orders for ultra-high performance concrete poles. In the first half of 2024, the company has produced to full orders and has delivered poles worth 110 million yuan, and will deliver 300 million yuan of products throughout the year.
It is reported that concrete poles are important basic materials in the construction of power transmission and distribution lines, and their supply capacity directly affects the progress of power grid construction. However, the construction of concrete projects along the Western Corridor is difficult, the use environment is harsh, and transportation and maintenance are difficult. In order to enhance the construction performance of concrete poles and avoid defects during pouring, Changtong Intelligent Manufacturing has launched the "Ultra-High Performance Concrete Pole Industrialization Project" in recent years.
"Our company has successfully developed ultra-high performance concrete poles through in-depth industry-university-research cooperation with Suzhou Concrete and Cement Products Research Institute, Guizhou China Construction Architectural Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd., Guizhou University, etc. These poles have high bending moment resistance, good crack resistance, light weight, good durability, low brittleness, good impact resistance, long service life, and low overall cost. They have received widespread attention and recognition in the power industry." Ma Hongjiang said.
