Zeekr: All evidence has been secured and the police have been notified

First of all, let’s take a look at the statement made by the Zeekr Legal Department:

"Recently, we have noticed that there has been a large amount of online violence against Zeekr, and a large amount of rumors, abuse and fabricated false information have been repeatedly and maliciously spread, which not only misleads the public, but also directly damages the company's image and reputation, and seriously affects the company's normal production and operation activities.

We have collected all the evidence and reported to the police for the above rumors and false information, and will use legal means to protect our legitimate rights and interests. I hope everyone will not believe in rumors or spread them, and jointly promote the healthy development of the new energy vehicle industry."

This time, the Zeekr Legal Department posted a total of 6 pictures and made specific clarifications on the pictures. For example, a picture showing "26 Zeekr X" was confirmed by the Zeekr Legal Department as a rumor, and it was stated that "the picture shows the 2022 engineering verification car."

An individual user posted a picture and said "a confidentiality agreement will be signed soon", which was also confirmed to be false information and the user has clarified it.

Response to "Paid Testing"

No cooperation with any individual or organization

Recently, Zeekr has been in constant public controversy, and the official Weibo account of Zeekr’s legal department has also made public statements many times, saying that it has encountered rumors and misleading content that have damaged the brand’s reputation.

On August 13, a well-known car blogger released a video titled "When Xiaomi SU7 hits a Zeekr 007", which attracted widespread attention.

In the test, the blogger selected two popular models, Xiaomi SU7 and Zeekr 007, for collision test. The collision speed was 60 kilometers per hour and the collision was carried out at a 90% overlap rate. The blogger said in the video that after the collision, the Xiaomi SU7 lost power and could not open the door. After that, the relevant images of the video also aroused doubts from netizens, including whether the small battery was connected at the time of the collision and whether the small battery was swapped. The car blogger released an apology and clarification video on August 14.

Xiaomi Motors officially responded to the collision test, saying that after analysis, it was found that the so-called "test" was not rigorously set up, the records were incomplete, and the conclusions were unscientific. Xiaomi Motors emphasized that the Xiaomi SU7 had undergone rigorous collision tests during the development process and no safety hazards were found, and called for vehicle collision tests to be conducted by professional organizations.

The legal department of Zeekr released a message on the evening of August 16, saying that the company has recently noticed that a self-media on the Internet platform has conducted a test of the collision between Zeekr 007 and a model of a competitor. At the same time, a large number of rumors and misleading content have appeared online, calling this test a "paid test." After verification, Zeekr has not cooperated with any individual or organization in such tests. For false information, Zeekr reserves the right to pursue legal liability of relevant parties.

The legal department of Zeekr said that Zeekr does not agree with and will not participate in any "pull-down" marketing that "smears friendly competitors", and at the same time firmly resists and opposes any behavior suspected of "unfair competition". Please do not spread rumors and jointly maintain a good development atmosphere for China's new energy vehicle industry.

In addition, in February this year, the 2024 Zeekr 001 was announced to be launched, with a price range of 269,000-329,000 yuan. On August 13, Zeekr released the 2025 Zeekr 001 at a new car launch conference, with a price range of 259,000-329,000 yuan. Among them, the new model is equipped with Zeekr AIOS and Haohan Intelligent Driving 2.0 for the first time.

Subsequently, some netizens expressed dissatisfaction with Zeekr's consecutive launch of two Zeekr 001 models within half a year, and flooded the official live broadcast room and comment area of Zeekr, demanding that Zeekr "return the money."

On the evening of August 14, the legal department of Zeekr posted a Weibo post saying that in response to the launch of Zeekr's 2025 new products, a large amount of organized rumors, photoshopped images, and fabricated personal attacks and other false information have appeared on the Internet platform recently. This illegal act of fabricating and spreading false information has greatly damaged the reputation of the Zeekr brand. "We have secured relevant evidence and reported to the police, and will severely investigate the legal responsibilities of all rumor makers in accordance with the law."
