Leaker Maijin Bu has released a new photo on X showing what are alleged to be color samples of the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro series. The report suggests that the brown "bronze" color in the earlier photo may be misleading.

Those colors are listed as "white, black, gold, and gray." He noted that the gold is a very dark gold color that is "relatively low-key and deep." The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to continue to use titanium as the body material, just like the iPhone 15 Pro series.

An earlier photo posted by fellow leaker Sonny Dickson showed that the iPhone 16 Pro models would allegedly come in white, black, gray, and a more bronze or brown hue that was later dubbed "Desert Titanium." This color would likely replace the blue titanium color currently available on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

If the news is accurate, the iPhone 16 Pro series will retain white, black and natural titanium colors.

Previous rumors have suggested that the fourth titanium colorway for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be "rose" or "rose gold." Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo was one of the first to predict the rose titanium colorway.

Apple is expected to hold an event in September to unveil the full lineup of iPhone 16. In addition, some new Mac and iPad models are expected, as well as updated AirPods and new software.
