On the morning of August 18, Liu Zhao, director of the Center for Excavated Documents and Ancient Writings Research at Fudan University and a first-level professor, delivered a keynote speech at the International Academic Symposium on the 50th Anniversary of the Archaeological Excavation of the Mawangdui Han Tomb. On the same day, at the opening ceremony of the seminar, three sets of books covering the latest research results of the Mawangdui Han Tomb were released: "Changsha Mawangdui Han Tomb Bamboo and Silk Manuscript Collection" (revised edition of 7 volumes), "Changsha Mawangdui Han Tomb Library" (first batch of 4 volumes), "Chinese Silk Series Hunan Museum Volume (Warring States Period to Han Dynasty)". Among them, the revised edition of "Changsha Mawangdui Han Tomb Bamboo and Silk Manuscript Collection" was jointly edited and published by the Center for Excavated Documents and Ancient Characters Research of Fudan University and the Hunan Museum.

Liu Zhao introduced that the revised edition of "Collection of Bamboo and Silk Manuscripts from the Mawangdui Han Tomb in Changsha" represents the highest and latest achievements in the current research on the Mawangdui bamboo and silk manuscripts. This book has been revised a lot based on the first publication of this book in 2014. Not only have many chapters been rewritten, but many chapters have also been added with new explanations and annotations, and have been added, deleted, and modified.
