According to regulations, before December 31, 2024, for individual consumers who scrap fuel passenger cars with National III emission standards or below, or new energy passenger cars registered before April 30, 2018 (inclusive), and purchase new energy passenger cars included in the "Catalogue of New Energy Vehicle Models with Vehicle Purchase Tax Reduction and Exemption" or fuel passenger cars with a displacement of 2.0 liters and below, the subsidy standard will be increased to 20,000 yuan for the purchase of new energy passenger cars, an increase of 10,000 yuan from before; the subsidy for the purchase of fuel passenger cars with a displacement of 2.0 liters and below will be 15,000 yuan, an increase of 8,000 yuan from before.
When will the car trade-in be implemented and when will subsidies be applied?
1. The implementation period is from April 24, 2024 to 24:00 on December 31, 2024.

Yes, the owner of the scrapped vehicle and the newly purchased vehicle must be the same person. What is the basis for issuing certificates for old and new cars?
1. The scrapping date of the old vehicle shall be based on the delivery date stated on the "Certificate of Scrapped Motor Vehicle Recycling".
2. The cancellation date of the old vehicle shall be based on the cancellation date stated on the Motor Vehicle Cancellation Certificate.

The scrapped motor vehicle recycling and dismantling enterprise shall issue a "Scrapped Motor Vehicle Recycling Certificate" to the motor vehicle owner for the scrapped motor vehicle it recovers, take back the motor vehicle registration certificate, license plate, and driving license, and cancel the registration with the traffic management department of the public security organ in a timely manner in accordance with relevant national regulations, and hand over the "Motor Vehicle Cancellation Certificate" to the motor vehicle owner.
