China Daily, New York, August 16th. The 2024 "Hi Foreign Affairs" Summer Salon, hosted by iMpact, the global localization brand steward of Chinese enterprises, and co-organized by JLG Law Firm, was held in New York on August 16th. The event was themed "Trust, Integration, Opportunity" and shared the "5R Integration" methodology summarized by iMpact after serving nearly 200 Chinese companies over the years.
Chris Pereira, founder and CEO of Meixun, said that the "5R in One" methodology can help Chinese companies to successfully achieve overseas localization to the greatest extent, so that Chinese brands can gain recognition and trust from the mainstream overseas public in the target market, and thus integrate into the local market. From a historical perspective, compared with the successful experiences of American, European and Japanese companies, facing the world and accepting the test of globalization is the only way for Chinese companies to succeed. The key to the success of Chinese brands in overseas markets lies in whether they can reach a cultural consensus with local users. This has nothing to do with the region, only product competitiveness and brand influence. Chris Pereira revealed that the 5R methodology summarized by Meixun comprehensively diagnoses the pain points of Chinese companies in the process of internationalization from five levels: BR (business development), GR (government relations), IR (investor relations), HR (employer brand), and CSR (corporate social responsibility), helping Chinese companies to reach a cultural consensus with overseas target audiences and become brands trusted by local audiences.
Through a large number of case studies, the senior management team of Meixun showed the guests participating in the salon how to build trust in overseas markets, integrate into the local market, and find more development opportunities. The senior management team of JLG Law Firm shared the problems they found in assisting Chinese companies in internationalization from the perspective of law and compliance, and how to turn these challenges into opportunities. Many of Meixun's partners and customers in New York were also invited to attend the event. These representatives from different industries shared their experiences in the internationalization process from their respective industry perspectives, and also provided valuable experience for more Chinese companies that are interested in participating in international competition.
Founded in 2021, Meixun is headquartered in New York, with offices in Toronto, Vancouver, Shenzhen, Beijing, Hangzhou, Singapore and other places.
