At around 6 pm, visitors still flocked to the Beijing Olympic Museum. As soon as they entered the theme lobby on the first floor, they were attracted by the two double Olympic relief murals on the left and right walls. "Beijing is the world's first 'double Olympic city', and such echoing double Olympic murals can only be seen in Beijing!" Visitors marveled and took commemorative photos with this as the background.
The three basic exhibitions on the underground floor of the venue with the theme of "Realizing the Dream of Double Olympics and Creating a Better Future" were crowded with people. Visitors carefully visited and learned about the process of bidding, preparing and hosting the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and Paralympic Games and the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympic Games. "Mom, this is the ski jumping platform where Gu Ailing and Su Yiming won the championship in the Winter Olympics!" Huang Zihan, a second-year junior high school student from Henan, shouted excitedly in front of the sand table models of the three major competition areas in the "Winter Olympics" exhibition area. Seeing these rich and precious exhibits and the opening ceremony scenes played on the big screen, my memory was instantly pulled back to the winter and summer when I followed the games every day, and I also learned many stories behind the two grand events." Zihan's mother, who had just visited the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube, caught up with the "night show" that was open later and had an unexpected gain.
The "thematic interactive exhibition area" in the museum is particularly lively. Basketball, table tennis, ice hockey, alpine skiing, figure skating... Children who love sports line up in front of various popular interactive experience games. After one child finishes the experience, the next child rushes forward. "After the opening of the Aobo this year, my child often comes to play. With so many experience projects, he always has enough to play. I learned that the museum was delayed today, so I brought him here to have fun." A parent who was waiting said.
After visiting the exhibition, tourists also like to visit the Olympic souvenir sales area. In the sales area on the first floor, there are various souvenirs of this year's Paris Olympic mascot "Friger" and Long Dun Dun series products. "During the entire summer vacation, Friger's plush toys, blind boxes, refrigerator magnets, and key chains are selling very well. Many tourists who come to travel buy them as souvenirs." In addition, the museum also held a re-issue activity for the 16th anniversary commemorative tickets of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games on the same day. "The reservation for the commemorative tickets was opened on August 8 this year, with a total of 800 tickets. The reservation was full in less than an hour. The offline collection will be carried out on the 10th. Today is the re-issue." A staff member on the scene introduced. "In order to get the ticket numbered 0001, the venue opened at 9 o'clock. I came to line up at 5 o'clock in the morning on the 10th to wait for the ticket!" Mr. Lu, who has an Olympic complex, said, "This paper commemorative ticket is particularly meaningful. It is designed based on the two double Olympic relief murals in the theme lobby of the Olympic Museum. It echoes the 2nd anniversary commemorative tickets of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics issued on the fifth day of the Lunar New Year this year, so it is worth collecting. It is understood that the Beijing Olympic Museum has recently extended its opening hours several times. "Recently, there are many visitors to the museum, especially on Saturdays.
