【Walk into the beautiful countryside】
Guangming Daily reporter Li Xiaodong
If there is a paradise, Luoyi is undoubtedly it. And the thousand Tibetan villages are scattered in the green embrace of Luoyi.

Luoyi is a basin valley in Shuanghe Town, Jiuzhaigou County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It means "treasure land" in Tibetan. To enter this secret place of Luoyi, you need to cross the narrow and claustrophobic canyon. When the view suddenly opens up, you can see the green peaks and forests in the distance, the Tibetan villages and farmlands nearby... The gurgling streams and the lush greenery are all the beautiful scenery of the agricultural area of the western Sichuan plateau.
It is surrounded by mountains on all sides and emerges from a river. The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast, shaped like a copper gong pot. Inside the copper gong, there are four villages, namely Dazhai, Luoyiba, Shunhe and Heba, which are scattered at different heights. They are hidden in the boundless green, and a faint mist lingers in the air, like a fairyland.
Tibetans, Han people, Hui people and other ethnic groups have lived together here for hundreds of years. The long-term integration and habituation make the buildings here present the characteristics of traditional western Sichuan dwellings. Each village retains a large number of century-old buildings. Dazhai was selected as a traditional Chinese village, and the other villages are provincial traditional villages. Now, the Qianhu Tibetan Village consisting of four ancient villages has more than 980 households and more than 3,100 people. The name of "Qianhu" is well deserved.
